FJC, not quite the right word for Tucker.  However, grit is very similar in meaning to grime  Grime of course rhymes with slime, which describes Tucker, and the Leafs, perfectly

The ESPN crew doing the game gave him a hard time about that. One mentioned how embarrassing it was to hockey and to the Leafs that he did that. The other questioned whether he had any pride.
