i find myself rooting for tampa bay. it...it hurts. but what's the alternative, really? what a terrible position to be in. i'm enjoying the game, though.
I've got to admit to cheering for the Bolts in the East. I don't understand it, but I actually prefered them to any of the other 7 teams there at the start. Division rival and all, they've got a heck of a team and have put it together the right way.
That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing SJ/CGY beat 'em in the Finals.
The TB coach always looks like he thinks there is a worldwide conspiracy against him.
Loosen up..........(or whatever J Riggins told that supreme court gal to do).
J Riggins is one of my favs.
Gotta love these afternoon games...........no one cares about them.
I bought some beer during the first per and the pub was basically empty(5 or 6 people there) , but if the game was on at night (a hockey game on a Sat Night........now that is a novel idea) the pub would be FULL !
Sparky saying Tampa's put together the right way reminded me of one of OldChelsea's posts over on official, so I stole parts of it. Two things- 1) forgive the affected English spellings- that's Chelsea's style. 2) The post was made to say the exact opposite of what it proves (it was made in reply to TB being a "home-grown" team.
Now, check this out:

Trades with 12 differentteams; couple of FAs; 1 waiver; 5 drafted.
Now that's some good GMing, to pull the parts from such diverse sources, over the last few years, to make up the present day team. (And I see the game is a final now- 3-2 Flyers)

Go Flyers. For some reason I just can't root for TB. Half my family is from the Philly area, and while my breeding as a Caps fan dictates pure hatred for the Orange, just can't seem to not root for them.

If I had a mind that was warped and sick .
I could somehow come up with a perverted joke using the words "rising dander" and "head and shoulders"(well...at least using "head").
But my mind isn't warped or sick.
Go TB!!!!!!!
If you keep pulling for Philly , I may need to put you on my very special list(you know what I am talking about ).
