I'm being such a hockey card geek this week. 

Probably not....but I don't post on Mike's board, so this is the only place I have to put the photos up.  Dee does come by here every so often, so I thought she'd see it, or maybe someone else would e-mail her to tell her about it.  All she needs to do is send a small padded mailer full of Finn cards to another Finnish collector who has the 2K4 set...this card is #68.  I think I traded 20 base cards to get this one, but it was worth it.  I didn't want those, and this one is a treasure. 

I haven't been over here in a while - I don't know why, no reason, just been skimming through everywhere, really.

Anyway - YAY!!!  Those are great pics!!  I wish I had some cards to trade, but I just don't.  Oh well. . .

They LOVE him over there - and are really hoping to sign him for another year (there's been some talk of him going to Switzerland - you know that European hockey hotbed - NOT!!).  He has said, though, that if Ottawa gives him a contract, he would play for them.  Damn, it would be hard for me to NOT consider moving there if that happened   (Not really, but I would certainly be visiting A LOT!!!)
