Calgary couldn't complete a pass in the Tampa zone on their power play... every one got intercepted or deflected out of the zone.  Tampa seems to be winning battles along the boards thus far.

Richards scores . . . all of that because Ference couldn't clear the puck off the boards as Richards blocked the puck from heading out of the zone.

I'd like to put out an all-points-bulletin for my husband, Chris Nelson.  There seems to be some maniac sitting next to me yelling for Brad Richards to get both his legs broken over his head and an appendectomy via his tonsils....then his head needs to be cross-checked down ice.

Where is my soft spoken sweetie who usually takes games passively?

And to think . . . Andrew Ference leads all players in ice time through regulation.  Quick . . . name the Penguins' top D-pair (no fair looking it up)

Actually, this might work against Calgary in overtime.  Sutter is essentially going with two D-pairs.  Combined, Montadore and Lydman have barely 20 minutes, although Sutter seemed to try to work both into the game for a few more minutes in the third.

I'd settle for seeing Khabibulin scoring on himself...but that is just me. Clearly I’m not a fan of the Ning…

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Iginla will be wearing a different brand of skate next season . . . this is twice he's had to go off for skate repairs.

It won't go a third overtime.  If Tampa wins, it will be early; as the clock ticks on, though, I think it favors Calgary.  If I had to look for players for winners at this point, I'd be looking for Modin for Tampa and Simon for Calgary . . . guys with good hands converting rebounds.
