The eligibles for induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame . . .

http://www.legendsofhockey.net/html/ind04prolog2003.htm

According to the Hall's by-laws, a maximum of four players can be inducted unless there is a specific directive from the Board of Directors.

Chris votes for McSorley!

We haven't talked about it yet, but when I scanned the list and saw McSorley, I could practically see Chris's eyes light up from his desk at work.

I'd say it would have to be Bourque, Murphy, Coffey and Tik.  I'd like to McSorley get in, especially as he did so much to help Gretz over the years, but that little incident with Brashear will bar him from induction ever occuring.

Insert witty phrase of your own, I can't be bothered.

Hey! . . . What about Stan Laurel?

. . . and in the same vein, is this the year Herb goes in under the "builders" category?

The inductees have been announced:

Ray Bourque
Paul Coffey
Larry Murphy

Cliff Fletcher in the builders category.

Still . . . no Herbie.

No Svoboda? I'm shocked.

Svoboda is schocked too. Since December 14, 2000, without interruption.
