Why did the caps pass on their last few picks ?
Or am I missing something here?
Looked at the espn thingy and saw no Cap picks for the last two rounds.
Why not just take a stab and draft someone ?
It would not cost them a cent (just don't sign them if they end up sucking).

I know none of the late picks will make it to the bigs , but it just seemed odd that they didn't draft anyone .


Maybe there is a diamond in the rough with one of these guys.

I seem to recall some guy named Bondra was an eighth round pick.  Who knows
