By the way, Ovechkin was drafted very late because they have very little chance to have him next season. He'll either play here or in Russia. While perhaps Fehr could benefit from a year in the WHA, especially if there's no NHL season. I guess the level in this new league will be somewhere between the NHL and the AHL.

Same thing for Witt: they used a late pick for him because, one never knows...

Perhaps, if there's no NHL season, it would be good for Max to be number one in Quebec. Stana and Daigneault with the Pirates, Olie in Germany.

Two things .
Either there are a few rich people who are really DUMB and actually think this league will fly.
Or , it is all a joke.
Even with a NHL stoppage, I cannot see this league surviving .

Thanks, Tomppa. Patrick Wellar is not a future Caps anymore, though, alas.
