Pat Peake at least got a reasonable number of games in at the NHL level before injuries chased him out of the sport.  This guy?  I wrote him off a while ago, but always hoped I was wrong.  Sad.

Crazy. I had high hopes for him this year...let hope the Docs get the graft done right the second time around. Hopefully he'll be in a Pirate sweater before year end.

One thing that bothers me at the moment... who pays Yonkman's surgery and next months' salary? Isn't he still RFA and not under a Caps contract?

And what is Cutta's real contract situation? If he's under the contract why isn't he playing with the other kids in DC now?

Since the first time I saw Yonkman play, I had high hopes of him turning into a big time player. But he really has turned into the Caps very own version of Grant Hill or Ken Griffey Jr. The Pat Peake comment is dead on.

What did he manage to do to himself? Those ACL reconstructions are practically indestructable.
