Ulmer of all people was second on the Pirates in scoring...not a true scorer by any means but played will with Mink and Vigilante for most of the season and played pretty well on the PP down the stretch. More of a checking forward with a sneaky potential for offense.

Robitaille was a great signing last season and proved to be a solid pairing with Cutta. He has a touch of Verot in him playing very combative and in your face style of D…he finished second to Mel Angelstad in PIM.

I like these depth signings for Portland as both these player prove to be solid AHL players and both were well liked by the fans and by coach Army.

Just a thought.
With the lockout/strike coming up , how many players on the current caps training camp roster can play in Port this year ?
overchkin(sp?)for an example.
