Denis Gauthier and Oleg Saprykin go to Phoenix
Daymond Langkow to Calgary
This creates room on the Calgary roster for Dion Phaneuf to come in, and it replaces and upgrades from Craig Conroy at the centre position. Langkow has never had a player like Jarome Iginla to be a centre for before, and now that he has, watch out.
Gauthier will be a good hitting machine for Phoenix, but the key to the trade was Saprykin. WHile I'm not crazy about the guy, he is getting better. He's a fast skater and has soft hands around the net. His biggest problem is his attitude, believeing that he is a better player than his team-mates, whoever they are.
In other news, Phoenix also signed Peter Nedved.

``I'd love to have a pre-game skate tomorrow and be getting ready for Game 8,'' he said wistfully. ``It just makes me excited for training camp.''
