Lockout or not, Pirates ready to play

"A core of 13 Washington players won't be assigned to Portland because they would have to clear waivers or because they have one-way contracts. That list includes goalie Olaf Kolzig, defenseman Josef Boumedienne and center Darcy Verot.

Another group of 12 players could be assigned to Portland because they have already signed two-way contracts or AHL contracts.

Most of the players on that list played for the Pirates for at least a portion of last season. It includes goalie Maxime Ouellet, center Graham Mink and defenseman Shaone Morrisonn."

If there is a lockout , rumors say that Hasek and Spezza will play for the Sens farm team.
I assume they would take a cut in pay to play (or the Sens would say NO to this).
