Calgary Flames defenceman Mike Commodore told a Calgary radio station that he would accept a salary cap if it would solve the NHL lockout, a stance that goes against the NHLPA's official position. Commodore is aware that some of his union brethren have spoken out much like he has, only to have their statements retracted shortly thereafter. For his part, Commodore doesn't seem too worried

I saw him play the other night...he cut his hair. :P
He just doesn't want to have to rot in the AHL for the entire season...traveling on a bus and living on fast food isn't the same as the jet service and the nice per deim he was getting in the NHL. The Boston Ritz is probably a touch nicer then the Portland Holiday Inn.

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, "Is it good, friend?"
"It is bitter---bitter," he answered;
"But I like it
Because it is bitter,
And because it is my heart."
