| Pirates lead the Albany River Rats, 2-0 at the second intermission. Jonas Johansson scored unassisted for the Pirates at 2:43 in the first period; Jakub Klepis from Owen Fussey and Brian Sutherby with 9 seconds left in the second frame. Justin Eddy has turned away all 20 shots he's faced thus far. Sutherby dropped the gloves 15 seconds into the match against Aaron Voros.

Overtime (the Pirates' sixth OT in 14 games so far). The Pirates have yielded 41 goals so far this year . . . 17 of them in the third period. These guys have to find a way to close the deal in games.
