Yet to be worked out are matters pertaining to the draft lottery (how the order will be determined) and a few odds and ends, but it looks as if the whole "am I dreamin'" nightmare is over.

At first I was jumping up and down in my car. Now I just don't know how I feel about this. Maybe, it is a matter of still thinking I'll believe it when I see it. Or, maybe I just don't feel the same about Hockey

I say "WOO"
But I'll keep the "HOO" for now until I see what silly rule changes that the Mighty Bettman brings to the NHL.
This year doesn't worry me too much , but I am worried that Betty will use the half empty arenas this upcoming season as an excuse for even sillier "improvements" for th eNHL.

I want to be excited...really do, but after all the crap that both sides pulled over the last year, its going to take awhile to regain the enthusiasm.

Ditto to some of what TAK said about holding some joy until the full effect of rules and the new CBA is realized

Until I see what the product on the ice is, there will be no joy on NHL Fandom Street here...

(seriously, I want to be excited, but I just don't feel it for some reason...bah!)

A new NHL CBA announced during the hot days of Summer just doesn't get my juices piqued.
I have other things on my mind right now.

Rarely watch ESPN, but was flipping through it and saw The Mullet talking about hockey and the rule changes that might be coming...TAK...you're right...hockey talk and getting excited about it in the middle of July after over a year of no hockey? Kinda hard to really focus on it.

Besides..it's SUMMER!!! Way to much going on.
