My thanks to "Paul" who sent in the following on Peter Bondra:"On 610WIP radio last night either Jackson (Flyers TV Announcer) or Saunders (Flyers Radio announcer) said that he thought the Flyers may look to use the $3M+ or so under the cap they have to sign a veteran goal scorer to take some of the pressure off of Jeff Carter and Mike Richards to produce goals in their rookie seasons. Beyond Gagne and Forsberg he noted the Flyers don't have a lot of proven goal scorers. Carter and Richards will likely become that, but the Flyers have a chance to win big now. He said that the guy that he would target would be Peter Bondra..... Sorry I don't recall if it was Jackson or Saunders, they actually sound a bit alike."

I heard that the Caps extended Bonzai an offer Hope it is true and he takes it. Either that or goes and plays for the Panthers. I heard they haqve shown some interest too.
