11:13 left 1st, and a TV timeout. Caps look almost as disorganized as the Panthers- lot of puck control, and lead in SOGs something like 6-7 to 1, but no solid shots, and no goals.

edit: just as I hit "post", JB said SOGs are 6-2 at this point.

I may be wrong, but it looks to me like, on the PP, all the Caps are on their wrong side- no matter who the pass goes to, they have to run around the puck to get a shot off. Don't know if it's an attempt by Hanlon to get guys playing off their weak side, but it sure looks pitiful at times.

Another game where the Caps are just dominating the stats, but showing nothing as a team.

The Caps are 60% on faceoffs so far, with Zubrus at 78% (11-3).... outshooting the Panthers....
