Chelios catches Samsonov in almost the same situation that Campbell caught Umberger the other night (looking down at the puck at his feet), but at the very last nano-second Samsonov turns slightly sideways on the play, and gets up immediately.

1-1, end 1st. I thought Ottawa had good jump out of the gate, but Tampa Bay hung in there, and by the end of the period, the play as well as the score was even.
Only one penalty called on each team- both teams seem to have gotten over the jitters.

Chara falls while the teams skate 4 on 4, Richards comes in unopposed, and it's 2-1 Bolts at 12:21 left 2nd.
Now a Sens penalty gives Tampa a 4 on 3 PP.

Richards wasn't too happy with the refs
He says one of the ref raised his arm to call a pen against Ott but then brought down his arm and did not blow his whistle when Ott touched the puck.
