Stanley Cup Finals- Game 1

The "experts" say the Canes; the "hearts" say Edmonton.

Personally, I'm torn- I'd like to see Edmonton, so they can say they won without Gretzky. I'd like to see Carolina, for the Southeast connection. I think the Canes are deeper, and the Oilers have the edge in goal (experience).

Bottom line, too close for me to call. Just play good hockey for 6-7 games, and I'll be more than satisfied.

I do not have high hopes for tonight's game.
I think the 8 day layoff for the OIL will show tonight.

DSC is coming on and HOLLY should be singing real soon .

I had to laugh- the Caps banner was prominent, right next to the flag.

Game on.

the cbc guys say that the 11 days between Ed conference final win and tonight's game is the longest layoff between series in NHL history

it was a fun watch

blowing a 3 goal lead should never happen in the finals but the oil will bounce nack next game .
