This is the first game I've had the impression the players realize this is for the Stanley Cup- both teams look edgy.

The crowd gives me chills; I sure wish people were this enthusiastic at Caps' matches.

Cole is playing for the Canes too. Hadn't noticed that.

I get confused- it sounds like a law firm out there:

One's goon is another's boon- I've seen Torres called Ed's secret weapon and possible MVP if they win the series, and you almost never hear his name. The guy is having a great playoffs.

If this does go to game 7, I won't be with you Monday- still on vacation, and have a few days in Atlantic City to start the next week.

I lose so much there, they've comped my room for two nights. Too good to pass up.

I wanted to go back to Vegas, but the cheapest good deal I could find at the time was $800 for travel (flight) and room, and AC costs me under $50 for the same......

The U.S. still hasn't scored a goal of their own.

the soccer game was pretty sad.I asked Roger earlier but he never answered how did USA get there? I guess they let anyone play in the world cup. Pretty embarrassing

Marc probably knows better than I how they got in. From what I understand, they're an improving team, and I think you earn your way into the final 16, so they must have done something right to get there. Not really up on the game, though watching a few of the games this past week has been very instructive. I still don't understand offsides, though.

About Italy-USA: that was a great game. After their first game, the Americans looked like the weakest team of the world cup (they didn't look like they wanted to play). It was really surprising to see them dominating Italy for most of the game. They didn't really score a goal, but they deserved to win, in my opinion. I believe it was the best game of their history since USA-Brasil in 1994 (the last world cup doesn't count, it was a wreck). They still can qualify for the eigth finals.

Almost the first Betty of the game, but the dive is called as well.

This crowd is wild- you almost can't hear the TV announcers for the noise.
