It's in Swedish, but that's pretty much the story (reported on the official boards)

I am not exactly filled with great expectations for the Caps next season so it is probally best that Backstrom stays in Sweden.
In my humble opinion the Caps are in the running for angelo Esposito(if he is draftable next season.......i kinda think he is).

I would prefer Tavares , but he is two years away .

I'm not too disappointed- how many 18 years olds play (full time, as most Caps' fans seemed to expect) in the season they are drafted?

All time, it can't be very many, and if your name isn't Orr, or Gretzky, or even Crosby, there isn't much point.

Did not an 18 year Scott Stevens make the Caps ?
Or has my mind finally revolted against me.

But I agree that 18 year old's should not be in th eNHL unless they are of superior talent.
