| Per official site.
Kinda funny that I had him on my Cup-winning team in NHL 2005 for PC.

Which was the Silliest move of the day ?
Caps signing Brashear or "The Who" announcing that they are going on a world tour .
Brashear is past his prime and the Caps SHOULD have had players who can fill his role in the minors.
Moon and Entwistle (sp?) are dead.
Townshend and Daltry should be ashamed of themselves !
The Who died when Moon died! |

I have mixed feelings about both announcements.
I have my reservations about Donnie Brashear, not the least of which are his age (34) and the fact that he has not fared so well in the Bettman Hockey League (est. 2005). Also, we all know how I am a fan of soft Euros. On the other hand, before the Brashear pick-up, the '06-'07 Capitals were looking softer than a teddy bear in a pillow factory.
As for the 'Oo... Well, yeah, they haven't really been The Who since Moonie kicked it. Zak Starkey (Ringo's son), who's been on the skins for recent tours, has probably been the best fill-in. But to be without Entwhistle too-- it's hard to imagine this even remotely feeling like The Who anymore. On the other hand, would you begrudge Rog and Pete their desire to keep their bank accounts in the black? Gotta earn some coin somehow. (Ol' Netsy is disgruntled about the upcoming tour, though, because they're skipping DC! I don't wanna hafta drive to Philly. You gonna put me up for the Vancouver show, TAK?)

Well ,if you buy the Beer (plus the tics for the show) .
I'll put ya up in my place.
I am strange when it comes the The Who .
I like much of their music but I hvae never been a big Daltry or Townshend fan.
Seeing a Daltry/Townshend show doesn't excite me.
I am a Moonie ! |
