Late game tonight is
Flames in Vancouver

Much better game for the Caps tonight- before the game, I picked Zubrus and Sutherby to have good games, based on the preskate, and both were mentioned in the post-game show. No points for Suts (although that line crushed tonight), but Zubie was a +1 with an assist.

Good all around game- I still think Olie might sneak in on NHL.com with his 41 saves, but we shall see.

Skated much better out there tonight did the Caps. Sure, they got some helpful bounces, but their forecheck was tenacious, especially out of the Gordon line (it was nice to see him get rewarded).

Somebody fix the power play, please.

Well you fit into this town perfectly.

1st per of the Cal/Van game was Boring
Nucks potted 2 pp goals to take the lead.
Then the 2nd per came along.
Matt Cooke nailed IGGY with a clean check
Next time they were on the ice together , IGGY challenged Cooke and Matty C(C for Coward....?) turned down the invite....BIG MISTAKE
Iggy then took over the game and scored a beauty,set up the tying goal and then the Flames scored late in the 3rd to win it 3-2.
IGGY showed why he is a Hockey God !
