You said yesterday that you would not be shocked to see Zubrus traded, Tom. I would, though. We have no reason to trade him. We need to acquire a second-line center, and it won't be at the expense of our top-line center.

Sounds like Johnson has already made some good saves in this period.

I don't see McPhee trading our first-round pick, because (if we don't get better and eventually win the lottery) it could be the top pick.

This year's draft is considered to be very weak .

Semin didn't play on the PP because they wanted two d-men (Heward and Pothier) behind the top line, I guess, to avoid another SHG.

To complete what I said: we gave up short-handed goals in two of the last three games, each time with Semin on the ice (although he's not necessarily guilty, and he actually scored a PPG on both of those games).

He WAS guilty, last night. Guy went right by him, took the puck, in the net.

Heward will not be a Cap next season so why not go with the future(semin) ?
