Good game by Johnson (30/32). Looks like he's better when he doesn't have much pressure.

From the Peerless' recap of the game: "Dave Steckel is going to have nightmares all the way back on the plane". Awesome, ovechkinesque play by Pettinger on that scoring chance.

There were only two games yesterday, but still, it's good to know that Ovechkin and Johnson were named first and third star of the day.

Thornton was scoreless in Anaheim. He must score 9 points in 2 games and hope that Crosby doesn't score any in his own last 2 games. Crosby already had a 3-game scoreless streak recently, but Thornton never scored more than 4 points in a game this season (and oddly enough, he never scored more than 1 goal this season, so he'll need help from Cheechoo, who had 3 hat tricks, including 2 in his last 6 games).
