last time the wings were down 3-2 on the road
they won the next two games outscoring colo 9-0
heard today that Lang is way way way down on the list with the wings coaching staff
ain't happy with him

Yeah, Versus did the same thing on the Wings, the dynamic duo has to come through for them; Chris Simpson interviewed Zetterberg, and he said the team is "confident" as they have been all along.
Detroit penalty- Ducks get the early PP.

He must be doing a good job- Lang's been all but invisible this series. This has been a pretty good hitting series, I can't wait to see either of these teams against the Sens.

He's only had 5 shifts.
Stats are the reverse of last game- all Ducks (except faceoff %), but.... it's only a 1 goal game. Ducks need to convert this shortened PP starting the 2nd, give them a little cushion.

here's an oddity
cbc guys talking about selanne and his late season slump
say he had to change all his sticks because Ron Wilson asked for a stick measurement in a game and caught TS with an illegal curve
Wilson knew it was illegal because he had asked selanne for a stick to auction off in a charity thingy earlier in the season .he checked out the stick before giving it to the auction
seems a little underhanded to me

Difference between the Wings and the Caps- Wings lose in the Conference Finals, they'll make some changes, on and off the ice. They won't stand for mediocrity. If it were the Caps, they'd be telling the fans what a fine year they had and probably standing pat.

He's been the difference. Detroit had their chances earlier, but he got 3-4 big saves in the 2nd to keep them at bay. Probably the MVP for the Ducks.
