Makeup call, Caps on the PP.... gotta love the flow to this game (kidding, of course).... Backstrom gets Kippy out of the crease, and fails to stuff one in.... and killed.

I think it's Sarich actually clotheslines Bradley at center ice, no call.... so a few seconds later, here's the makeup call to put the Caps on the PP.

Kipprusoff is just too much for the Caps. First he stops OV easily from long range, then he stops Fehr in close. Caps with 15 SOGs this period (8 in the 1st)... killed.
