I missed the second goal (PPG), by Clark from Ovechkin.

Caps still playing great, and added a third goal a few seconds after killing a penalty. Beautiful pass by Laich to Backstrom. Ovechkin got the secondary assist and has 3 points so far.

Then Théodore makes a great save. I like this guy. He looks quiet, and very solid. Great to have him here.

Ovechkin delivers a big hit that breaks the glass, then another (both on Sbisa), gets on Hartnell's nerves, and both end up in the box.

Satisfying game by Fehr and Fleischmann, who gotta start producing regularly, now.

Semin and Kozlov were scratched. I think the Caps have enough players to go through a long season, this time.

It's post-season that counts, though. But let's try to get there first. I'm optimistic.
