Not the best start... but they kill it. Might give them a little boost.

Icing Isles at 15:24 left 1st... not much going on, now, lots of back and forth, no stoppages...
already at 11:15 left 1st... and at 11:06 the Islanders score a weird goal- Moulson takes a slapshot, it goes wide and off the boards/glass, bounces up and over the net, where Neuvirth tries to field it like a popup... it goes off his stomach and into the goal.
1-0 Islanders.

Caps had 4 SOGs in the 1st... already 11:37 left 2nd, same score...
meanwhile, Florida is up 1-0 on Toronto, and the Bolts lead the Bruins 3-0...
11:01, it's back in the box for the Caps...
3-0 in less than :10 of PP.
