Hendricks blocked one of those shots with his hand while on the PK, I think they said he headed for the room (probably for an xray)...

A lot of action in this period. Shots are 11-10 Caps. Both teams had chances. I think that's a good sign for the Caps, because they didn't have too many chances in the first two games in Boston.

I used CastAlba in the first period, with commentary in Swedish, I think. It looked like the best stream.

I saw the end of the Flyers-Pens and Wings-Preds games last night. Very low scoring in Pittsburgh, only 5 goals, hehe. Fleury finally caught a few pucks. As for the Wings and the Preds, they were playing much harder than what I've seen so far, but it was at the same time a very open game. Preds should be dangerous this year. It was the second time only that they won a playoff round, I believe, but they could win more, with Radulov especially.

Second period is on. I tried JustinTV: very good stream, with commentary in English, but it stops after two minutes or so and asks you to pay. Back to CastAlba.

Holtby under pressure :45 in... Hendricks on the ice, he's hurt but not bad enough to sit, I think... most of the first 2:00 spent right in front of Holtby...

apparently Chimera gave Chara an elbow during that hit at the end of the 1st- Pierre MaGuire just showed video of Chara just now speaking to Chimera on the bench, telling him "You think you're tough? Just wait and see what you get this period. You think you're tough? I know how tough I am."...

Caps were having a very good moment, with several chances. Chimera had tried to score one from behind the goal line, and it almost hit the back of Thomas' skate. Then Caps were dominating. Corvo got hurt and lost his stick while blocking a shot. Then good shot by Wideman, rebound, Semin gets the puck, turns around a sprawled d-man and fires it into the net.

On the second goal, Ference had lost his stick behind the net and was not totally ready when Beagle took his shot. Still a puck that Thomas should have gotten.

I also wanted to say that Ward has been huge so far in this series. His line is almost systematically in the offensive zone, working hard.

This is what playoff hockey is all about- tell me, after watching the Caps this past regular season, that they'd be at 2-2 games, 3-3 mid 3rd of Game 5 of whoever they played if they made it...

and you can't, really.

The real danger of this game is, win or lose, the clock is ticking on Game 6, and it will depend on who has the most gas in the tank tomorrow. If this game goes OT or beyond, I'd honestly have to give that edge to Boston.
