We missed one pwnalty on Pens at 4:07, apparently the Caps did nothing with it... Daley is out tonight... so far shots are 6-0 Caps...

Scoring chances: 2-0 Caps.

And Williams muscles his way through two Pens, pass to Eller, shot, denied.

Caps to the PP now.

Oshie!!!! 1-0 Caps.

Same domination in the first period as last game, but this time they open the score.

Remember the Leafs? Caps could not dominate them for two minutes. That shows the Pens are much weaker. Caps should have never allowed them to lead this series.

Some pushing between Guentzel and Kuznetsov. I think Guentzel will leave him alone next time.

Williams and Kuznetsov, that was a great chance.

Kuznetsov slashes Malkin. Caps with a penalty to kill.

Malkin too tired for this PP (he had been on the ice for a long shift before that). 3:04 so far.

4 seconds to kill.

Done.

Crosby whining as always. Why is he allowed to complain to refs like that? He's not the coach. EDIT: I mean from the bench.

Yeah, not a smart penalty, but those two have been at it all period I gather... great kill...

1-0 Caps, end 1st.

Great road period. Need 2 more (at least).

Stats pretty even, except shots (Caps) and faceoffs (Pens). Watched the highlights, Mr. Crosby had a tough period again, maybe it will slow him down the rest of the way.

We shall see.

Second on.

We just have to chant, "Let's go, Caps!" after their trumpet. wink.gif

I also saw the highlights. They should even keep Crosby on the bench for the second period. They are taking risks with his health.

Pens know the Caps are much better. They just hope they'll have a couple of chances and be efficient. They're trying to win while being the weaker team.

Ovechkin almost screened Holtby. But he also almost blocked the shot, so it was worth it.

Game is becoming a little too crazy. Caps need to calm things down. Don't let the Pens make it too fast.

Burakovsky!!!!! 2-0 Caps.
