| And the winner is ... the politician again
FOR 40 years this has been happening.
And is continuing to happen.
And the winner is . . . the politicians yet again.
And the people of Papua New Guinea continue to lose out.
It is ironic that the politicians have voted themselves perks and privileges totalling K10 million.
What about the policemen and women and their families?
What about the correctional officers and their families?
What about the soldiers and their families?
What about the doctors and their families?
What about the nurses and their families?
What about the teachers and their families?
What about the state lawyers and their families?
What about the rest of the public servants and their families?
The public service is the spinal cord of any civil government.
And yet the public servants are living in abject poverty.
Are you politicians kidding yourselves?
You must be blind and oblivious to the facts.
How much more can we allow such insubordination by the people who are supposed to be serving us?
It is the same old people with the same old tired ideas and games played in the last 40 years played out here again.
The time is right for the public servants and the people of Papua New Guinea to rise up and object to these ridiculous extravagant
privileges the minority of people serving in the Haus Tambaran have voted for themselves at the expense of the nation.
The Governor General apart from sitting in his glorified chair, should step out of his dilution of grandeur, set the government
aside, put a caretaker government in place and call for fresh elections. This Government has lost its direction.
If it is not prudent for the GG it is time for the people of Papua New Guinea, the unions, the public servants, the NGOs, the
churches, womens group and every sane educated Papua New Guineans should stand up together as one, say no to this nonsense, demand
for dissolution of Parliament and call for fresh elections. Enough is enough!
We the people have the power. This is the time to act.
If you love our country, let us stand up as one against this minority few in the Haus Tambaran who for forty years have been taking
us for a ride.
We made them. Lets break them.
Come on Papua New Guinea. Stand up and fight for what God has given us, which has been stolen from us by a minority few for so
long.
Down with the politicians and their evil empires.

Until you or someone else comes out with these proud statements by name, there isn't a damned thing thats gonna happen to improve the situation. your words are good so why not be a real leader with a name instead of a pretend one in cyberspace. If you do that maybe people will follow you and you'll see the power of standing up instead of sitting down at the computer typing away like you and me both.. Get the big picture, mate? |
