I heard over the PA that there is an exhibit of mementos from the past 30 years of Saginaw Hockey. However, I didn't hear where this exhibition is at. Did anyone hear it's location? Sounds like an interesting showcase, I may have to see it, since its free and runs 'til May.

Thanks and GO SPIRIT GO!

I believe the exhibit he was talking about is at the Castle Museum downtown. (The old main post office next to the main library.) There is an article about the exhibit on the Spirit web site. The article is in the news archive from February 10th. This article says the exhibit runs through April 13th and has an admission cost of $1.00 for adults and $.50 for children, however, if you are a season ticket holder, your admission is free. There is also a graphic arts exhibit at the Saginaw Art Museum on North Michigan Ave that opened February 28th. Not sure how long it runs or what the cost is. This exhibit is, from what I understand, more of a history of promotional graphic arts items. Not real sure though since I haven't seen it. Hope this helps.

The Saginaw Art Museuam's hours are Tues-Saturday 10-5 pm and Sunday from 1-5 pm. They are also open to 8 on Thursday. Supposedly Cameron Knowles and others have gathered Saginaw hockey items from the last 30 years and are on exhibit there. There was an article in the Township Times...but they didn't list any prices for cost of admission.

Since I work directly across the street from the castle museum, I went during lunch along with a co-worker a couple of weeks ago, I was not too impressed. I think that there is a lot more memorabilia floating around this town. Pictures, programs, lots of things. I'm sure that if they had asked Wren Blair, he would have loaned them some stuff. Also, would have been nice to have seen some stuff from the Spirit inaugural game. Maybe some photos from Spence of the Civic Center under construction.
