What was everyones take on todays Saginaw News article concerning Saturday's draft? Since it has been all over the fan forums that Saginaw will be selecting Steve Spade as their #1 pick, it sounded like they were setting us up to get used to it. Most people will think we need to draft offense because of our low goal production and might not understand picking a defenseman. I think it is the smart move. Just ask yourself, how many games did we lose by one goal? How many time did the other team score on rebounds because we didn't clear the puck or take out the other teams player. We didn't score that many goals but poor defense lost us more games. What do you all think?
