Saturday's scrimmage is now 100% a go. For the past week or so it was up in the air whether it was goin to happen. I was wondering how serious other posters were about a descent crowd at Bay County Civic Areana on Saturday night and if you were excited to see the fresh crop of young talent?

I can't wait till Sat. night. I am so lost without hockey. Will be great to see the youg'ins strut their stuff. I just hope they all show up.

This year's draftees, the 1987s, will obviously be at the mini-camp. What draftees from the year before, the 1986s, will be there and do any of them have a chance of making the team?

Count me in! Not sure about what 86's will be there, but I would think there are at least 10 spots to fill and I think anyone invited to camp later this summer has a chance to make the team. I agree with Sparky, not enough hockey and September is way too long to wait. Heck, I even went to Plymouth to catch a playoff game between Plymouth and Kitchener. Felt wierd though, wasn't sure who to root for. I just was glad to watch live hockey. Was Hoping Chris would do good so we could cheer that. We (Disco Stu and I) sure got plenty of strange looks wearing our Spirit attire down there. Kitchener brought 3 fan busses and it was hard to tell sometimes which fans were louder. Playoff hockey is great, we will have to get some of that in Saginaw soon. That goal starts Saturday, see you there!

I hope to be there on Saturday. I need some hockey. This stinks not having hockey. Stupid Wings! I can't stand watching the Ducks and Wild play--that just puts me to sleep. Argh! September can't come soon enough!!! Lets hope a lot of people show up to support the guys. LETS GO SPIRIT!!!

were coming from chesaning and bringing a carload to the game, also bringing some rookie hockey fans. I should get some money for turning all these young friends of my daughters into hockey fans. now all i need is a desk and a name plate on the door...lolol...any way we all plan on having a great time, maybe some posters, if i got any time. het trina, ya going to be there??
