I don't want to rain on any parades but next years ooteam is going to be very young. Remember this year. Sure the extra year of experience will help but there will be a lot of patience needed. There are some guys in this league that will intimidate a lot of the 16 and 17 year olds. Some returning guys will have to turn it up quite a bit...Yachmenev has to do more scoring wise and physically. The D have to play much more agressively...too many uncovered guys in front last year..knock them on their a$$...some rookies will have to earn their ice time..not like this year where it was given just to get them experience for this year..some guys have to be more visible out there...scoring should be better just on gaining a year's experience..like Rizk, Raska, Borges, Bis from the point, overagers have to make more of an impression than last year's. Hey..maybe coaches learned something..a good rule would be "earn your ice time"...I do like the effort this team displalys most nights..there is certainly heart on this team..

Rollo, don't think anyone expects Saginaw to all of a sudden being a contender in the upcoming season. If you look at Disco Stu's long post (and math lesson) you will notice he is just showing what is possible. Even at that he is showing as best case scenario of a sixth place finish. My feeling is any playoff spot will be a success. That's a range from 6th to 8th. Your points are well taken, however, I would take some issue with your opinion of last years over age effort. As bad as our team was, I can't immagine how much worse off we would have been without Peter Flache, Josh Tataryn, and Adam Chapman. After seeing some of the new young talent coming our way at the mini-camp, all I can say is this team is going to be fun to watch.
