Anyone planning on going to the first exhibition game this year?

It is between The GreyHounds and the Spirit. It is an away game at the Soo.

Planning on going this year is everything works out.

Maybe we can get them to do a Fan bus for those that have missed hockey for all these months.

Binque.

that would be a great idea, maybe they should get that idea out there now instead of waiting til 2 weeks before the game. Id consider going.

I am sure that by that time we will all be dieing for some hockey but I think I will have to wait until the first home exhibition game. Sorry, but my labor day won't be spent on a bus or in the lovely barn they call home in the soo.

A 5 mile walk is a pretty long walk, I guess. Of course I am not in the best of shape.

My wife and myself will be visiting our daughter at Northern Michigan University in Marquette that weekend. The trip suddenly came up when the exhabition schedule came up. A nice visit to Marquette (6 hr drive) for two days, and then a three hour drive to the Soo on the 1st for the game, then home.

This is one trip I am really looking forward to.

Labor day in the Soo

Well, I too may make the journey just as I did last year. I went to the gaylord game and then up to the Soo after the game. Just a hint, RESERVE HOTEL NOW! We spent several hours looking for a hotel room in the Soo Ont. and MI. Every hotel, motel ma and pa cabins were packed full. We decided to head back to St. Ignace and try there, wrong! after searching all over and calling as far away as marquette we finally found a room at 1:00 am that someone did not claim and the guy just said, they didn't show and you got the doe! Then we had to drive back to the Soo the next day. We were going to stay at the family cottage in Gaylord and then drive to the soo the next day. This year we just might do that!
