Last night's game in Midland was awesome. Great action, goals, hits, fights, etc. Here's my perspective. Kozak has been playing SUPER PHYSICAL...really looks good. Had a big time fight with another tough kid whos name was nowhere to be found on the roster. Jagodich...this kid is a MONSTER...don't know if he's tough but if so, look for him to entertain fans for years to come. The kid is only 15. I like some of the free agents in camp...Price and Kovolchik look really good. Great crowd in Midland last night. I hope some local folk took in the game to see what they are missing if they haven't visited the Event Center lately. Pfligler, the new goalie looked really good too. Suggs played well again. I really like McNeill. This kid can fly!!! Asselin and Crowder fit in well. I can see all these young kids doing very well in the OHL. Too bad Pyatt isn't here. He doesn't know what he's missing.

Eric Jagodich is listed in the Saginaw News at 259 lbs. Is this true? I love watching this kid on the ice and I can't wait for him to play for us next year. I really don't want him on our team this year. Let's let him mature for one more year and then, BAMMM, he will become one of the best Wingers next year.
My fear with him playing this year in the OHL is him getting injured because he is still fairly young. One more year to toughen up and he can be one of the hottest kids in the 'O'.

the game was awesome but the arena seating was not anywhere big enough.....bt heres the funny part, well now it is..i drove to baycity arena from chesaning, duh! ok, so i got on us-10 and went to midland, got off on saginaw street exit, asked girl in burger king how to get to arena, she sent me on a wild goose chase.Finalllly found arena, got inside and had to stand. not a big deal to me but my kids couldnt see to good. When i started out to "baycity" i had 3/4 of a tank of cheap gas($1.61) well now after all that my gas is gone, but the game was great.;p

I have been very impressed with Suggs. I keyed in on him for several of his shifts in the B/W game and watched his every move, is was always in position and he moved well. He gave some great checks and took some hard ones as well. I heard his parents say they had him enrolled at SVSU so I think it's safe to say he'll be on the ice Sept. 20. Talking about next year players, Aaron Rock was pretty good too. I was surprised at his movement for being so darn big. He's going to make a good goaltender in years to come.
