HOLY CRAP!!!! Did you see the list of penalties? Is it just me or do you think that is a little out of control (not that it matters, we still kicked butt). Out of curiosity I have a question. Would game suspentions be carried over from exabition to regular season games or is it even possible to get them in the pre season? Also, don't we have some that carry over from the end of last season? If so refresh my memory and tell me who. By the way, does anyone still think Pligler DOESN'T know what he's doing. It only takes some time to condition him to playing in the OHL.

i do believe they carry over into the regular season from the pre season but i cant say for sure. also to see suspensions you can go to ohl.com and under media notes it tell the leagues suspensions. it currently showes that kozak and pain have two games pending to serve from last year.

Pfligler Stats & Suspensions

I hope everyone will give this kid a chance to find his game. Granted the last three games he has started were not against the best players the other team has, but then again we didn't have our best players either. Having said that in the three games Pfliger faced 91 shots and turned away all but 5. Not too bad for your first three games in the OHL. Does anyone know if Mike Brown will be back for today's game? If not, it could get interesting. Playing a rookie Thursday, Saturday & Sunday is a lot to ask. If Miller is in goal, however, we just come to appreciate Pligler that much more.

As far as the suspensions go, I am not much help. I don't know about the preseason, but like McCartysux said Kozak and Pain have two game suspensions carried over from last season and are eligible to return September 18th. I think it has been a pretty good preseason. The boys are playing hard to make the team. I think this will account for a lot of the extra penalties. Things should settle down once the season starts.

I am wondering how they can return on September 18 if the season starts the 20th. How exactly do they count those 2 games? Or did you error in your date of return? I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just curious. You know what will happen if you are wrong, BP(LOL). I'm only kidding. You know from previous posts that I value your information. Can't wait till 2:00 today. GO SPIRIT!!!

Once again my fingers and keyboard have betrayed me. Should have typed the 28th. Maybe if I throw in some misspelled words no one will notice.
