With the exception of Kostadine except for Kovalcik, this is the exact roster I had written down on a legal pad over a week ago. I really didn't feel like posting it then, as people were slamming each other in personal attacks, rather than having a reasonable discussion.
Regardless, that looks like a pretty good roster. 15 forwards, 7 defensemen (should be 8 if Misharin ever decides to show up), and 2 goalies.
We can dress 20 on any given night, and now we will have four (likely three forwards and a defenseman) sitting out every game, who can be swapped in and out of the lineup to keep us fresher longer.

You were correct to wait until the silliness died down! For the record, the personal attacks didn't exist until others perpetuated an air of elitism and holier-than-thou attitudes about a critically important subject like...junior hockey. Don't get me wrong, I love it - but I'm really happy with how it got resolved. Quite humorous, actually. Amazing, the lengths human beings will often go to defend their "logic".
BUT...not why I was commenting.
I was getting the info that Misharin will be at the game Saturday but more than likely not in uniform until his visa is fully worked out. Bissonette will probably not be back - word from Pittsburgh is, they want to see him in some exhibition games. Yikes!

Bissonette was supposed to dress for the Penguins pre-season game tonight in Wilkes-Barre but now it's been cancelled because of the hurricane. Amazing. And they still haven't cancelled the A&M-Virginia Tech football game tonight...YET
Bissonette, my guess is, WON'T play on Saturday if the Penguins like him this much. Perhaps he's back next weekend. Similar to Tim Gleason who Ottawa kept late last year only for him to come back and help Windsor beat Saginaw in the second game last year in overtime.

With Kozak & Pain suspended for 2 games, and Biz up with the Pens, looks like we will be pretty thin on "D" for at least opening night! Only 4 d-men left? Let's hope Misharin plays!!!

If by "Mike" you mean Mike Brown, he was already sent back from Boston. Platt was released by San Jose too. Biz is slated to play with Pittsburgh in at least their first exhibition game.

Kind of like the sport itself, Stu. If someone keeps whacking at your legs, and is kind of chippy with the stick, sooner or later, there's going to be an engagement. Hockey's like life that way. I'm not saying I had nothing to do with it but if dude's going to rip on a whole bunch of other people and sneer at their opinions, he's open to be heavily critiqued himself. All my points were pretty logical as well, I reckon! I didn't start the name-calling, the "pray for you" references, or suggest anyone wasn't raised properly. I'd define that as an attack on one's person, as opposed to their opinion. You seem bright enough, I would expect you to know the difference.
I'm just looking forward to the season starting and hoping the team takes some successful steps. I never showed up looking for a war of words.
