Well, many of you have heard me rant about Biz. Well, I'll be the first to congratulate him on his fine performance at the Pittsburgh camp. see article www.post-gazette.com/penguins/20030917pens0917p2.asp Maybe I was so "over sold" on him prior to last season and became blind after seeing him play early on. I will point out that in the article they say that many NHL scouts saw flaw with his skating just as I did, but apparently he has worked on that. I still think he needs work and the article points that out too. But I guess if the penguins are giving him a shot at pre-season games than I have to give him credit. Way to go Biz. Hope you bring that good performance back to the Spirit

Has roughly the same chance of opening the 2003-04 season in the NHL as he does of winning the Powerball lottery on the same day he's struck by lightning.

Right, wrong or otherwise Paul makes his NHL debut tonight. He is listed for both tonight's game as well as Saturday's contest. We are going to miss him Saturday for sure, but isn't it exciting for him to get this chance to show his stuff. I for one will be listening to the game tonight on the internet. It is going to be fun just hearing his named called. Way to go Biz!
