No Bissonette. I really feel bad for him that he's not going to the Worlds. But every kid's dream is to go and wear the Maple Leaf, and he's not as deserving based on his play this season as the other guys going are, I can only speak for the other OHL defenceman.
It's too bad - but in addition, we couldn't afford to lose him for up to 2 weeks over Christmas with McNeill already gone!!!! I mean this in a good way, I hope it inspires him a bit to focus on being the best captain and player Saginaw could have. This team seems lost and needs a leader. I feel like it's now or never for him. Mantha will change the captaincy (Lees? Sturgeon?) if he thinks it'll get them to the playoffs.
Hopefully next year he goes....
