It said in the Saginaw News today that Platt could come back IF no other team picks him up before the trade deadline Jan. 10th. It said he would be invited back to the team Jan. 11th if no one else wants him for OUR price. I hope someone picks him up!!!

There is no way he will return. The team chemistry will be to important to upset. The players don't want him! Besides, from his standpoint, could he actually walk into the locker room after this departure and a month of no other team wanting him?

well even if he learns to check the ego (as some of you say) and he wants to come back, and isn't taken by some other team, we've got all the platt bashers who've said a whole lot all ready. IF, he comes back how will you all greet him? like if he scores, when he comes on the ice, if he screws up on a scoring chance? and plus he probably reads this board. he's a young guy(18 yrs) hopefully this won't affect his playing ability. just a thought, maybe it's not all him, maybe it's the rest of his line. last yr he played with josh tataryn who at the time was 21 i believe, not sure though. maybe he needs a leader out there or just someone whos more like a older brother type guy to play on the same line with. i dunno, just throwing some stuff out there.

Even IF Geoff reads this board, he probably takes everything said here at face value. I hardly doubt that it will ruin his career if someone says he has an ego problem or was underacheiving. There are some seriously sensitive people on here!
