obviousley this message is meant for geoff but i know others will read it. and i really dont care what all the rest of you will think of it cuz im almost possitive i will get some nasty replys but as you see i dont care. well Geoff, you impacted my life in many diffrent ways (good)with out doing anything and with out even knowing.you will always be missed here in saginaw by TRUE fans we'll love and miss you always!

rachel, it's definately ok to feel this way for a player. I think it's more of a girl thing than a guy thing and thats why guys are coaches, not women. I'm 39 and when the gears (IHL) were here i had favorites too, i was way too shy to approach any of them but i totally adored most of them. There was one who was a star here and he for some reason was traded to flint(who was our worst enemy) i thought my world was done, but he came back. he has came back to this town several times and ive kinda followed his career around by reading the newspapers. I even went to flint when they played the kalamazoo wings because he was coaching the wings and i wanted to watch/see him. The cool thing is he walked thru the penalty box area and i got to speak to him and get his autograph. most people by now will know who this guy is. it's ok to have a favorite.

Just because some people may not have that opinion about Geoff, does mean we are not "TRUE" fans. I thought he was our best player, but I have my own reasons for thinking it may be better without him here. That does not make me an untrue fan. I am a season ticket holder at every single game cheering them on, and I am a true fan.

WE GET IT!! honestly, i was reading this board and I stumbled accross Rachel's love confessions to Mr.Platt. Rachel, although I'm sure you and Geoff had a fabulous relationship and you love him, nobody wants to hear about it.
Also, if you are Geoff are as close as you say, why are you crying on a board where "punkbunny feelings" aren't appreciated. Go to your voy.com board with all of your little friends and mourn over Geoff. This forum is for hockey first.
