Disco Stu and I are planning a road trip to Windsor on December 28th. This will be our first trip to Windsor and my understanding is the fans there can be somewhat intimidating. It might be better to hang in packs if you know what I mean. I am told it is best to sit in the south end of the arena where the Spirit will shoot twice. If there are any of you who are planning to make this journey also perhaps we can all sit together. There is strength in numbers. It would make the trip more enjoyable. I tried to get the fan club to make this trip but they seemed preoccupied with the Toronto trip. If anyone is interested in putting a group together for this game, please send me an e-mail...Thanks!

Talked to the boss (wife) and she said yes, lets go to Windsor. SO, I can set it up with you at the game on the 27th (you know I haven't missed any game yet behind the away players bench) of I can contact me directly.

Ah, sounds like it would be a fun trip but too much going on for me.
As for intimidating Windsor fans, na, I was at the last Windsor game with my mom and her friend and we went nuts, cheering all the time, hooting and hollering. Only a hand full of people gave us "dirty" looks, a couple of older guys even started talking to us (I think they liked my mom and her friend). but still they were very nice and told us to come back again soon.
You'll have a good time, I'm sure.

If I don't go skiing that weekend I will be making the trip to Windsor. The fans there aren't that bad. Not sure why they get such a bad rap. If you have never been to the Windsor Arena you are in for a treat/shock. Their arena is so outdated you almost feel bad for them. You won't believe your eyes!

Hey, I'd love to go!!! I'll leave it up to you to tell my entire family that I can't celebrate Christmas and my Mothers birthday on that day, though. My guess is that you won't do it so I guess I'll have to go some other time. Thanks for inviting everyone though. Hey, family Christmas party in Windsor...tree, presents, food...this would be a great plan. Open gifts at intermission and if you don't like what you got throw it at the Windsor players. Ha, Ha, Ha....

The drinking age in Canada is 19... but Windsor is a dry arena. You can only drink in their "blue line club" as the "fans" have become too rowdy and they are no longer aloud to drink inside the rink. (They would throw their beer bottles at the visiting team). Last game I went to there... when we scored we stood up and cheered..fans told us to shut up and sit down. It is quite the place! Good luck!
