Anyone interested in a NEW Spirit message board?

I've created one at

http://talkspirit.proboards27.com/index.cgi

in case anyone wants a change of scenery. There are a TON of options on that board & we can also set up different categories so we can keep hockey talk in hockey categories and other stuff in other categories. Then everyone doesn't have to weed through all the posts that they might not be interested in. Just an option. If no one wants to use the other site, that's fine, too, I'll take it down if no one goes there. Figured I'd try it out!

I'm still working on the colors & whatnot. Please bear with me!

It would take a little cut & paste work, but I could probably take the last 4 or 5 topics from this board over to the new one. Just trying to stir up some interest.

I for one am not sure we need another message board. Is this one inadequate? Can someone explain the reasoning? Would most people stop using this board or use both?

I really don't want to have to go to several different places to read everyone's thoughts. I know I'm not the most active person posting here but I do read quite often so the future of the usage is important to me. That is my opinion at this point.

It was basically started as an alternative to this board because you can filter posts to different & more appropriate categories. I know of several people sick of weeding through the posts to find HOCKEY posts, as opposed to posts about what a nose is made of, etc.

I see we have 10 registered members already at the other board, mostly regulars here, and that doesn't even count the unregistered users over there. It seems people might like an alternative. Like I said, 10 people have signed up over there & yours was the 1st one opposed to it (to an extent).

Feel free to come on over!!!

...plus it's a fun board! You can private message people, add a personalized avatar, and other fun stuff! I liked this board, but the new one just has more to offer, in my opinion.

I added a couple of categories tonight on the other board, including NHL Talk, Minor Pro Talk, and my favorite, a Saginaw Hockey History section!
