For many years, the stock market would drop whenever Adam's series was airing in HK. Many stock investors fear of "Ding hai effect." Previously, Dodo cheng had warned everyone to be wary of the return of "Dinghai Effect" and to be careful of it.
Yesterday Adam attended the promotional activities for "The King Of Snookers." When he heard of what Dodo Cheng had said earlier, Adam responded. "Scared of me? Sigh! The series hasn't started airing and the stock market has already dropped. Blame it on me again? I believe it will rise!" Adam invested in HSBC stocks many years ago and he bought some for more than hundred dollars. Asked if he has suffered losses? Adam said, "At this time, everyone's asset might have dropped about 10-15%, but I am not an entrepreneur, I only invest in stable stocks." When mentioned that nowadays many retirees have returned to work after they lost their fortunes, Adam said, "That's why I will never retire."
The world is currently in recession and stocks have been plummetting with no end in sight. Furthermore with "Ding Hai Effect" re-emering, reporters asked Adam if he is worried that "The king of Snookers" will be in danger of being forced to stop airing? Adam laughed, "After 'Rotation' no other series of mine has been told to stop airing. The director is wearing red shirt today and I'm wearing a red underwear for good luck."
Asked if he is afraid to walk on the streets when his series airs? Adam said, "I never scared of that, don't try to influence the others. We can buy stocks while they drop and can start selling during half way of the series. Back then when 'Bar Bender' was aired, the stocks were fine. I think everyone likes to put the blame on others, or maybe they can't find a place to vent their frustration; therefore, they will react this way. Next time I will help them by filming "The King of Stocks."
