Adam is currently filming a 30-episode series "The God Of Medicine" in Hengdian, China. It is reported that Adam gets paid $100,000 per episode to film this production. There will be many fighting scenes in this series. Seeing Adam's movement, he really doesn't look like he is a 62 year-old man. But yesterday, he was injured on set while practicing a sword-fighting scene. His face got cut by the sword and almost "disfigured."
In the series, he plays a Song Dynasty medicine God who is intelligent and good at healing people. He has the responsibilty of curing people and getting rid of demons. He fights bad God to help people get rid of him. Yesterday while practising with the sword, he was accidentally injured by it. Immediately, the whole scene was "chaotic." Everyone was so worried, scared and busy cleaning his wound except Adam himself. He was calm and even showed a "V" sign to encourage everyone and he even joked, "Will change into a new image, this time will be called 'Scarred face God.'"
After Adam's wound had been cleaned and applied with medication, Adam continued filming as he did not want to delay the filming schedule. Adam laughed,"It's very normal to get hurt when filming, this is just a small matter. It's ok." As for the production team worrying about filming Adam's closed-up scene, Adam said, "Just put on a thicker make-up, more lighting and film different angles will be able to cover it." On the set, Adam kept changing angles and asked the director, "Can't see right?" He even taught the director how to film. It is known that Adam usually looks at the mirror and does his own make up in front of everyone. Adam admits that he likes to look good. Luckily, his face is not "disfigured."
The production team revealed that everyone treats Adam with full of respect, yet he is the one who loves to joke most among them. He has been giving everyone weird nicknames and when he read his lines, his co-stars will always end up laughing and result in outtakes.
