Yesterday, the 4th Bao Sheng Culture Festival was held in Xiamen, China. The event is a celebration of Bao Sheng Da Di's birthday (God of Medicine). Adam and the production team attended the event and filmed a scene of Adam dressing as the God. He stood among the people as they were praying and filmed a scene of the God returning to earth on his birthday. Many praised that Adam looks so much like the real God of medicine.
Adam was extremely busy on that day as he had to film three different scene at three locations. After Adam finished filming the scene, he was interviewed by the reporters. Adam spoke in a sincere manner, saying when he decided to film this series, he took it seriously. He even went to pray at Bao Sheng Da Di temple when he was in Taiwan, hoping the God will bless and help him to portray the role well, not to disappoint his devotees.
Someone mentioned that Adam's got paid $100,000 per ep for "God of Medicine" Adam replied that he is still active and he has only been filming one series per year because he is picky about scripts. He says he is ambitious; he hopes that every role he plays will be able to leave a deep impression on the viewers. Yesterday after filming the temple scene, he rushed to another location to film seaside scene, he was busy filming three scenes within a day.
Although filming is really tiring but Adam still looks charming as usual. Although he is already 62 years old but he still looks like 40 years old. Adam truly knows how to maintain his image well. Adam says there are four habits that he does not engage in: no smoking, no drinking, no staying up late and no socializing. Hence, he is able to maintain his looks until now. Besides that, he also drinks fruit juice, soup and more water. Adam also adds,"Must keep up the good habit of going to the toilet every morning, it's good for health." Adam laughs while saying that.
On screen, Adam is charming as usual. Behind the screen. he looks at the mirror, puts on make up and does everything himself in front of everyone with ease. He admits that he likes to look good and he jokes, "I am young, I still have pimples. I do my own make-up to save time." Also, Adam is always seen holding an umbrella when he is under the sun.
After filming in Xiamen, they went back to Hengdian to continue filming. Soon, they will be going to Taiwan. This is the first China series that is allowed to film in Taiwan. Their permit no., is 001. |
