Interesting....When we were talking to Lenny in June 2000, he said that that Alonzo could be compared to someone who is now in college, but still hangs out with his high school buddies. So, I interpret that as him not being 'young' in the sense that he's a kitten or even a teen...but he is young at heart and didn't really want to grow up until he had to during the Macavity fight.
I wish I could have seen the London production before it closed down. It would have been interesting to see the differences.
