Good point, Keith... however...
I have seen a few theatres where the aisle seats are not that special. Having been in those aisle seats (clear to the extreme sides of the house), you miss out on one part of the scenery and a few of the character hijinx that occurs there. I feel they should have paid ME for them...
Still, I know what you mean, and I agree ont he ones in front, and any aisle that is in the middle sections of the house. To be able to at least touch and briefly interact with a Cat or Kitten, or to have them come down to us was really something. At Edinburgh, we had Deme (Barbara King) come down to say hello to Ahdeya, and I had GUS (Patrick Clancey) Pop up right in front of me... Guy-Paul would come to the edge of the stage - a scant 6 feet away... Yes - the front and certain aisles are great for that...
Then again, Matthew Gould (Skimble) didn't bother with aisles - he just climbed out over the seats to about the third row to stare at someone in the center seats...
I hope my Pechanga seat is good this coming April when CATS US V comes out to my area... somewhere up front... the ONLY way really to see CATS short of the Winter Gardens and New London...
